What to expect in French Polynesia?

💉 Vaccine exemptions

Vaccinated travellers may enter and are exempt from all Covid-19 test(s) and quarantine requirement(s).

These exemptions only apply to:
Travellers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Moderna (Spikevax) or Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty) at least 7 days before departure or fully vaccinated with Janssen at least 28 days before departure, and their accompanying minors younger than 18 years. In the past 15 days, they must have only been in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Comoros, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, French West Indies, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong (SAR China), Hungary, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Japan, Jordan, Korea (Rep.), Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mayotte, Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, Rwanda, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, USA, Vanuatu or Vatican City

🌡️ Testing requirements

You will need a formal Medical Certificate presenting a Covid-19 test from an accepted establishment taken prior to your departure from the first embarkation point.
On Arrival you may be required to complete a test for Covid-19 and/or some form of medical screening, at no cost to the traveller

Details:
Authorities will lift the requirements of filling in the “Electronic travel information system” (ETIS) within six to 30 days before departure and the upon arrival testing for all international arrivals from 28 March, as part of an easing of COVID-19 measures. Currently, travellers who tested positive upon arrival must undergo a 7-day quarantine.
