Covid-19 PCR Test

Fully vaccinated passengers using the VTL will need to take COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests twice – 48 hours before departure and upon arrival in Changi Airport. Travellers must remain in self-isolation until they are notified of a negative test result within 24 hours. Post-arrival tests on Day 3 and Day 7 are also required in Singapore.

Must stay in VTL country before departure

Prior to their flight to Singapore, that travellers have stayed in one or more of the VTL countries (and/or Singapore) for 14 days prior to their departure.

Vaccination certificate and requirement

Fully vaccinated travellers must have a valid proof of vaccination issued in any VTL country or Singapore. Travellers must present their COVID-19 vaccination certificates upon arrival at Changi Airport. These certificates must be digitally verifiable to safeguard public health and avoid instances of forgery.

Designated VTL flights

Those travelling on the VTL must only book and board designated VTL flights. Full details of the VTL designated flights can be found on the individual airline websites.

Mandatory Covid-19 travel insurance

Short-term visitors applying to enter Singapore through the VTL must have Covid-19 travel insurance with minimum coverage of S$ 30,000. This is to help them pay for the cost of medical treatment and hospitalisation in Singapore if they contract Covid-19. A physical or electronic copy of this travel insurance is required when entering Singapore.
