Entry / Exit Key Updates

• Malaysia-Singapore Vaccinated Travel Lane launched in November 29
• Entry for travellers arriving from several countries banned due to the Omicron variant. As of December 5, this now includes Ghana, Malawi and Nigeria.
• New Covid-19 testing requirements implemented for all arrivals.
• As of 14 December, 87% of Singapore have been vaccinated to fight COVID-19. While 96% of people eligible have been fully vaccinated.

• Malaysia: This route is now open through the Malaysia-Singapore Vaccinated Travel Lane.
• Indonesia: This route is generally closed with the suspension of the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) agreements
• Japan: This route is generally closed with the suspension of the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) agreements
• Taiwan: This route is subject to the Air Travel Pass (ATP) terms
• Vietnam: Air Travel Pass (ATP) has been temporarily suspended
• China: This route is subject to the Air Travel Pass (ATP) or the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) terms
• Australia: Air Travel Pass (ATP) has been temporarily suspended

Global Major Updates

• The United States along with many European countries implement new travel restrictions.
• Travel restrictions around Asia continue to be updated to help contain cases of the new Omicron variant.
• A total of 8.4 billion vaccine doses have been administered globally with 4.4 billion people fully vaccinated. This translates to 47% of the global population
