• Malaysia-Singapore Vaccinated Travel Lane launched in November 29
• Entry for travellers arriving from several countries banned due to the Omicron variant. This also extends to travellers under the Langkawi Travel Bubble
• As of December 15, 78.2% of Malaysia’s population have been fully vaccinated, and 79.5% have received at least one dose.

• The United States along with many European countries implement new travel restrictions.
• Travel restrictions around Asia continue to be updated to help contain cases of the new Omicron variant.
• A total of 8.4 billion vaccine doses have been administered globally with 4.4 billion people fully vaccinated. This translates to 47% of the global population
