Entry / Exit Key Updates

• Indonesia is still a tough country to enter during these times. Fortunately, exceptions have been made, for tourists with any of the following Temporary Stay Permit (ITAS) or Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP), APEC Business Travel Card, or travelling under the Travel Corridor Arrangement (TCA).
• Tighter airline protocols implemented ahead of year-end holidays
• Shortened quarantine period was implemented for fully vaccinated travellers
• International travel restrictions are expected to be in place for the foreseeable future, although vaccination efforts have begun. As of 13 November, 31% of Indonesia’s population have been fully vaccinated, and 49% have received at least one dose. 

Key Routes Updates, travelling from: 

• Singapore: This route is generally closed with the suspension of the Reciprocal Green Lanes (RGL) agreements other than for Indonesian Citizens or Residents, travellers with a Temporary Stay Permit (ITAS) or Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP), APEC Business Travel Card, or traveling under the Travel Corridor Arrangement (TCA).
• Malaysia: This route is generally closed for travel other than for Indonesian Citizens or Residents, travellers with a Temporary Stay Permit (ITAS) or Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP), APEC Business Travel Card
• Philippines: This route is generally closed for travel other than for Indonesian Citizens or Residents, travellers with a Temporary Stay Permit (ITAS) or Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP), APEC Business Travel Card, or travelling under the Travel Corridor Arrangement (TCA). 

Major Global Updates 

• The United States reopens border to vacccined foreign travellers
• More countries, including Israel and Australia ease travel restrictions
• A total of 7.5 billion vaccine doses have been administered globally with 3.2 billion people fully vaccinated. This translates to 41% of the global population
