As covid cases continue to decline, Singapore continues to lead the region in reopening its borders with new VTLs and reduced restrictions. To get more details and route-specific information, visit Covid Entry Check.

What’s New? 

New VTLs with Hong Kong, Philippines and Israel, as well as previously deferred VTLs with Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), launched on February 22.

Singapore launched its very first Sea-VTL with Batam and Bintan on February 25.

Travellers no longer have to take an on-arrival PCR test, this will be replaced with a supervised antigen rapid test (ART) within 24 hours of their arrival.

Singapore’s mask mandate

All persons older than 5 years old must wear a mask when out in public. 

Social distancing

There are current restrictions on social gatherings with a maximum group size of up to 5 persons.

All of Singapore’s public transportation systems are operational, please note that you must wear a mask at all times.
