I lost my passport, can TruTrip help?

We understand the difficult nature of losing your passport on a trip. The usual process of obtaining a replacement passport is within the parameters listed below:-

1. Lodge a police report which includes the circumstances of loss
2. Contact the nearest embassy of your home country for assistance and replacement documents
3. Collect or have the replacement passport delivered

However, the above steps can be complicated especially if you are at a destination that’s not near your local embassy / consulate. In this situation, contact us and we will attempt to connect you with the appropriate parties to get the process started. 

Also, if you have travel insurance – you may be entitled to reimbursements of costs incurred to obtain your temporary / replacement passport. Contact us for more information.
