Entry / Exit Key Updates
- Malaysia-Singapore Vaccinated Travel Lane launched in November 29
- Entry for travellers arriving from several countries banned due to the Omicron variant. As of December 5, this now includes Ghana, Malawi and Nigeria.
- New Covid-19 testing requirements implemented for all arrivals.
- As of 14 December, 87% of Singapore have been vaccinated to fight COVID-19. While 96% of people eligible have been fully vaccinated.

Key Routes Updates, travelling from:
- Malaysia: This route is now open through the Malaysia-Singapore Vaccinated Travel Lane.
- Indonesia: This route is generally closed with the suspension of the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) agreements
- Japan: This route is generally closed with the suspension of the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) agreements
- Taiwan: This route is subject to the Air Travel Pass (ATP) terms
- Vietnam: Air Travel Pass (ATP) has been temporarily suspended
- China: This route is subject to the Air Travel Pass (ATP) or the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) terms
- Australia: Air Travel Pass (ATP) has been temporarily suspended
Global Major Updates
- The United States along with many European countries implement new travel restrictions.
- Travel restrictions around Asia continue to be updated to help contain cases of the new Omicron variant.
- A total of 8.4 billion vaccine doses have been administered globally with 4.4 billion people fully vaccinated. This translates to 47% of the global population
