This growth pushed various industries forward, especially business travel. According to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), as cited by Travel Weekly Asia, global business travel spending is expected to reach US$1.5 trillion in 2024, exceeding pre-pandemic levels by 6.2%.

This 2024 our app has been buzzing with activity, with a 130% increase in flight bookings this year. In this article, as seen from our app, we’ll share with you the most booked airlines by Singapore business travellers for this year.

3) Scoot

Scoot is increasing its flight frequencies to various destinations from Singapore in anticipation of higher demand during the Northern Winter season. Notable increases include flights to Chiang Mai (from 10 to 11 weekly), Hanoi (from five to six weekly), and Perth (from 13 to 14 times weekly) starting December 2024Offers ScootPlus for added comfort and space.

The airline is expanding its fleet with the addition of Embraer E190-E2 aircraft, which will serve new regional destinations including Padang, Indonesia, and increase services to existing routes like Davao, Philippines.

This 2024 its actively expanding its international network, which now includes over 35 domestic and 26 international destinations, covering key markets in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. The airline’s focus remains on providing affordable travel options while enhancing connectivity across Southeast Asia. 

Cebu Pacific also set to launch thrice-weekly flights between Iloilo (ILO) and Singapore (SIN) starting on November 25, 2024. The flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. 8) Cathay Pacific

It was reported that starting June 1, 2024, Cathay Pacific will resume its daily flights between Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK) and Singapore (SIN). This route will enhance connectivity for travelers in Southeast Asia, with flights available for booking through October 26, 2024.
