Malaysia fully reopened its borders and drops quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated travellers as of April 1.
Starting May 1, vaccinated travellers will no longer be required to take a pre-arrival and on-arrival Covid-19 test to enter the country.

Do I need a test to enter?
General arrivals will need a negative Covid-19 test to enter. Starting May 1, fully vaccinated travellers are not required to test for Covid-19.
Will I need to quarantine when I arrive?
General arrivals will need to quarantine upon arrival. However, the duration will depend on your country of origin and vaccination status.
Malaysia’s mask mandate
Wearing face masks is still mandatory, however, starting May 1 this will only apply indoors and will be optional when outdoors.
Social distancing
Face-to-face meetings are allowed with physical distancing, and social gatherings/events are limited to 50% of the venue’s capacity. However, starting May 1 social distancing and venue capacity will be removed.
Getting around
All of Malaysia’s public transportation systems are operational, please note that you must wear a mask at all times.
