Entry / Exit Key Updates

  • The government of Singapore has plans in place to ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens. To do this, they’ve created an air travel pass that allows access with strict conditions on what type of business trips can be taken while visiting them through green lane arrangements which were launched last year. The first iteration covered Taiwan, Australia Japan, China and Vietnam
  • Singapore has implemented new restrictions on reciprocal green lane entries for Indonesia, Japan, Germany Malaysia and the Republic Of Korea that suspended all applications from these countries until further notice; however, Singapore will continue to allow approved controlled itineraries as before this change was put into effect per traveller’s request.
  • The stay-home notice period for new travellers from high-risk areas will be shortened from 21 days to 14 days
  • Stricter measures implemented for travellers from New South Wales, Australia
  • The country is still experiencing a pandemic and travel restrictions have not been lifted. However, we expect more Air Travel Pass or Reciprocal Green Lane negotiations in the near future as their vaccination rates increase. As of 21 June, 36% of Singapore’s population is now fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and 52% have at least one dose of vaccination.
