At TruTrip, transparency and visibility are at the core of everything we build. In this release, we’re excited to share several improvements focused on more informed decision-making and flexibility across the platform

Fare comparisons & Benchmarks

You ask, we listen. A highly requested feature is now available in beta. When a flight booking is made, TruTrip stores alternative flight options ranked based on a combination of price and travel duration. These options are now displayed on the approval details page for managers and admins.

This helps provide context on whether the selected fare was the most efficient or cost-effective choice available at the time of booking.

Clearer refund details for hotel bookings

Refund rules and penalty fees are now shown directly on the hotel review page. This helps users make more informed decisions before confirming a booking.

Faster access to your company’s user list

Super admins can now easily export the user list from the Users page. Once the request is made, a CSV file containing the user list will be sent via email.

Other impactful updates:

  • Companies using Single Sign-On (SSO) can now invite guests without needing a company domain email. This makes it easier to include external parties, like contractors or partners, in TruTrip. To ensure safety and data privacy, guests have limited access and can only see trips booked on their behalf.
  • Custom and manual bookings can now be approved through the normal approval and pre-approval process.
  • Previously, travelers could not request date changes on the same day as departure, restricting flexibility. Same-day departure date changes are now enabled, allowing travelers to modify their plans if needed.
