Entry / Exit Key Updates

• Singapore remains largely closed to those who are not citizens or residents. The current Greenlane arrangements are strictly conditioned towards business travel, with exhaustive terms and conditions to ensure safety. The Air Travel Pass currently covers Taiwan, Australia, Brunei, China, Vietnam and New Zealand. 
• New / Changed general restrictions – Currently, all Reciprocal Green Lane entries applications from Indonesia, Japan, Germany, Malaysia and the Republic of Korea have been suspended. However, travellers with approvals before the suspension was in effect will be able to continue the trip per the approved controlled itinerary. 
• Travel restrictions eased for travellers from Hong Kong and Macau with the lifting of the Air Travel Pass suspension
• Singapore to tighten restrictions for travellers from New Zealand due to increasing cases
• Travel restrictions are likely to still be in place until the country has a healthy rate of vaccinations. In the meantime, we expect more Air Travel Pass or Reciprocal Green Lane to be negotiated in the near future.
• As of 28Aug, 78% of Singapore’s population have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and 80% have received at least one dose.

• Malaysia: This route is still closed Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) agreements are suspended
• Indonesia: This route is still closed Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) agreements are suspended
• Japan: This route is still closed Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) agreements are suspended
• Taiwan: Air Travel Pass (ATP) has been suspended until further notice
• Vietnam: Air Travel Pass (ATP) has been suspended until further notice
• China: This route is subject to the Air Travel Pass (ATP) terms; as of June 5 travellers with travel history to Guangdong Province within the last 21 days are not allowed to enter
• Australia: Air Travel Pass (ATP) terms are still followed for this route

Global Major Updates

• United States removed from EU’s safe list due to increasing cases
• More ASEAN countries use proof of vaccines to reopen economy, easing restrictions for vaccinated people
• A total of 5.2 billion vaccine doses have been administered globally with 3 billion people fully vaccinated. This translates to 27% of the global population.
