• Travel ban on African countries imposed in early December lifted
• Umrah pilgrimage travel temporarily suspended due to concerns over Omicron
• Quarantine is no longer required for vaccinated travellers with proof of recent infection.
• As of 18 January, 78.6% of Malaysia’s population have been fully vaccinated, and 79% have received at least one dose. While vaccination for children ages 5-11 is set to start at the end of the month.
