Can you enter?

Entry is restricted to Citizens and PRs, Spouse & Children of Citizens/PRs, Other Residents (pass holders), Business Travellers, Transit, Travellers must self-isolate for 14 days, unless they present evidence of a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) COVID-19 test taken in the country of departure no more than 72 hours before arrival or take a PCR test upon arrival. For pre-departure approval, evidence of a negative test result must be emailed to PCRtravelcerts@gov.je with the passenger's travel details, including the arrival date, time, mode of transport and flight number. The test result must be submitted for approval no later than 12 hours before planned arrival. Travellers who opt to take a COVID-19 test upon arrival are advised to limit social contact while they await their test results. Testing results are typically available within 48 hours. Testing can be done at Jersey International Airport and St Helier Harbour, Elizabeth Terminal. Travellers arriving by a private plane or vessel must contact +44(0) 1534 445566 by phone before travel and book a PCR test at the earliest opportunity. ravel history can be grounds for a 14-day self-isolation or a second COVID-19 test. Regardless of a negative COVID-19 test result, travellers who have visited a high-risk "red" country within 14 days of arrival must self-isolate for 14 days. Travellers who have visited a medium-risk "amber" country will be subject to testing and quarantine upon arrival and then a second PCR test taken on the fifth day; the quarantine will end if the result is negative in the second test. Travellers from a low-risk "green" country will not have to self-isolate on arrival if they test negative. An up-to-date list of "green", "amber" and "red" countries is available on the government website https://www.gov.je/Health/Coronavirus/Travel/Pages/DeclaringTravelHistory.aspx. Travellers who do not comply with self-isolation measures can be fined up to GBP1, 000 (USD1, 261) and must pay for their own lodgings during the quarantine period.

What to expect in Jersey?

📝 Before your trip

You must obtain advance arrival permission to board your plane.
You will need a formal Medical Certificate presenting a negative PCR test from an accepted establishment.
Your Certificate must be within 3 days of your arrival.

🛬 On Arrival

On Arrival you will be required to complete a test for Covid, with the cost borne by the traveller.
