Other important information:
• Travellers must arrive at Calgary (YYC), Edmonton (YEG), Halifax (YHZ), Montreal (YUL), Ottawa (YOW), Quebec (YQB), Toronto (YYZ), Vancouver (YVR) or Winnipeg (YWG).
• Travellers must present an ArriveCAN receipt before boarding.
• Travellers arriving directly from India must have a negative COVID-19 test taken at most 18 hours before departure.

Travellers arriving directly from India must have a negative COVID-19 test taken at most 18 hours before departure. The test result must be issued by the laboratory Genestrings at the New Delhi airport (DEL) and have a QR code. Tests accepted are: CRISPR, Ct, detection of the E gene, detection of the N gene, detection of Orf1a/b, detection of the RdRp gene, detection of the S gene, ddPCR, isothermal amplification, LamPORE, NAAT, NAT, NGS, PCR, qPCR, RNA, RT-LAMP, RT-PCR, sequencing and WGS.

What to expect in Canada?

📝 Before your trip

You must obtain advance arrival permission to board your plane.
You are required to complete a pre-arrival form.
Form Details:
Travellers and airline crew must submit their information electronically, at most 72 hours before arrival, through the ArriveCAN app or the website https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/coronavirus-disease-covid-19/arrivecan.html . Travellers must present an ArriveCAN receipt before boarding.

You will need a formal Medical Certificate presenting a negative PCR test from an accepted establishment.
Your Certificate must be within 3 days of your arrival.
Testing Details:
Travellers must have a negative COVID-19 test taken at most 72 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Canada. Tests accepted are: CRISPR, Ct, detection of the E gene, detection of the N gene, detection of Orf1a/b, detection of the RdRp gene, detection of the S gene, ddPCR, isothermal amplification, LamPORE, NAAT, NAT, NGS, PCR, qPCR, RNA, RT-LAMP, RT-PCR, sequencing and WGS. - Test results issued in India or Morocco are not accepted.

Travellers are subject to a COVID-19 molecular test on day 1 and day 8 after arrival.

😷 Quarantine details

General arrivals will be required to quarantine for up to 14days; Quarantine is to be served at a dedicated facility (costs borne by traveller) (special arrangement may apply due to GreenLanes).
