Can you enter?

Entry is restricted to Citizens and PRs, Spouse & Children of Citizens/PRs, Other Residents (pass holders), Student or work permit, Nationals of France who reside in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, and have been only in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, the USA or Canada in the past 14 days, must be for a purpose except tourism.

Travellers arriving from the USA are allowed to enter provided if they are traveling on duty, who are asymptomatic for COVID-19 and travel for a non-optional or non-discretionary purpose, immediate family members or extended family members of a national of Canada or a permanent resident of Canada who are asymptomatic for COVID-19, travellers enter on Compassionate Grounds and are asymptomatic for COVID-19.

Travelliers arriving from a country other than the USA are allowed to enter provided if travellers are asymptomatic for COVID-19 and travel for a non-optional or non-discretionary purpose, travellers are asymptomatic for COVID-19 and the subject of a National Interest Exemption Letter issued by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration or the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness immediate family members or extended family members of a national of Canada or a permanent resident of Canada who are asymptomatic for COVID-19, travellers enter on Compassionate Grounds and are asymptomatic for COVID-19, and travellers are asymptomatic who enter for the purpose of an International Single Sport Event

Travellers must arrive at Calgary (YYC), Montreal (YUL), Toronto (YYZ) or Vancouver (YVR), except direct flights from certain countries.

All travellers must submit their travel information before boarding through the ArriveCAN app or the website.

What to expect in Canada?

📝 Before your trip

You must obtain advance arrival permission to board your plane.
You will need a formal Medical Certificate presenting a negative PCR test from an accepted establishment.
Your Certificate must be within 3 days of your arrival.

🛬 On Arrival

On Arrival you will be required to complete a test for Covid, with the cost borne by the traveller. For more information: https://orders-in-council.canada.ca/attachment.php?attach=39483&lang=en

😷 Quarantine details

General arrivals will be required to quarantine for up to 14days; Quarantine served at a home or at a dedicated facility (cost borne to traveller) (special arrangement may apply due to GreenLanes).
