On Arrival you may be required to complete a test for Covid-19 and/or some form of medical screening, the cost borne by the traveller

Travellers from Vietnam must have negative results of two nucleic acid tests taken 24 hours apart within 48 hours before departure if fully vaccinated, or those of a nucleic acid test and a serum IgM antibody test within 24 hours before departure if not fully vaccinated, as well as a negative result of an antigen test taken within 12 hours before departure to enter China. All tests must be taken at facilities approved by the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam.

• Business travellers must have medical insurance or guarantee from the hosting company to cover COVID-19 expenses
• Travellers must have:
- a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival and at most 12 months before arrival; or
- a recovery certificate issued at most 6 months before arrival.
