💉 Vaccine exemptions

Vaccinated travellers are exempt from on-arrival Covid-19 test(s) and quarantine requirement(s).

These exemptions only apply to:
Travellers arriving from Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Turkey, USA, United Arab Emirates or United Kingdom with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated and are asymptomatic.

You are required to complete a pre-arrival form.

Details:
Travellers must register online before boarding at https://arrivals.healthdesk.go.ug/home/. This will generate a QR code which must be presented upon arrival.

🌡️ Testing requirements

You will need a formal Medical Certificate presenting a Covid-19 test from an accepted establishment taken prior to your departure from the first embarkation point.
On Arrival there are no Covid-19 test requirements at this time.the cost borne by the traveller

Details:
Authorities announced that effective immediately, fully vaccinated inbound air travellers are no longer required to undergo pre-departure testing, amid an easing of COVID-19 entry restrictions; the same measure applies to all fully vaccinated outbound travellers. Unvaccinated travellers must have a negative PCR test result dated within 72 hours before departure.

😷 Quarantine requirements

General arrivals will be required to quarantine for up to days. Quarantine is to be served at a dedicated facility (costs borne by traveller)

Travellers are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival at their own expense and to self-isolation until test results are ready.
