Can you enter?

Entry is restricted to the following travellers:
• Citizens and PRs
• Spouse & Children of Citizens/PRs
• Other Residents (pass holders)
• Business Travellers
• Transit
• Vaccinated travellers (please see vaccine excemptions for details)

Others:
• until 18 December 2021, travellers with a FAN ID card and a 'Confirmation of Entry Permit/Fan ID registration for the State of Qatar' traveling for the FIFA Arab Cup.

What to expect in Qatar?

💉 Vaccine exemptions

Vaccinated travellers may enter and are exempt from pre-arrival Covid-19 test(s) and quarantine requirement(s).

These exemptions only apply to:
• Nationals and residents of Qatar, EU and GCC with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival.

📝 Forms

You must obtain advance arrival permission to board your plane. You are required to complete a pre-arrival form.

Details:
Foreign travellers must register at https://www.ehteraz.gov.qa/ at least 12 hours before arrival and obtain pre-travel approval.

🌡️ Testing requirements

You will need a formal Medical Certificate presenting a Covid-19 test from an accepted establishment taken prior to your departure from the first embarkation point.
On Arrival you will be required to complete a test for Covid-19, the cost borne by the traveller

Details:
Travellers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 48 hours before arrival. The test result must be issued by a testing center approved by the local government.

😷 Quarantine requirements

General arrivals will be required to quarantine for up to 5 days. Quarantine served at your home / hotel

Details:
Foreign travellers must undergo hotel quarantine while unvaccinated nationals and residents of Qatar or GCC citizens may serve their quarantine at home.
