Authorities announced that Janssen, Vaxzevria and Covishield COVID-19 vaccines will be recognised as valid booster shots from 26 June. Travellers who received a recognised booster shot from Yellow countries/regions are exempt from upon-arrival testing and quarantine, while Authorities announced that Janssen, Vaxzevria and Covishield COVID-19 vaccines will be recognised as valid booster shots from 26 June. Travellers must complete a "Quarantine Questionnaire" at https://arqs-qa.followup.mhlw.go.jp/ . This will generate a QR code which must be presented upon arrival.

🌡️ Testing requirements
You will need a formal Medical Certificate presenting a Covid-19 test from an accepted establishment taken prior to your departure from the first embarkation point.
On Arrival you may be required to complete a test for Covid-19 and/or some form of medical screening, the cost borne by the traveller

Travellers must have a negative COVID-19 test result at most 72 hours prior to departure.

😷 Quarantine requirements
General arrivals will be required to quarantine for up to 5 days. Quarantine is to be served at your home / hotel

5-day home quarantine (or 3-day home quarantine + negative result of a voluntary test) are required, however, those who obtain a valid vaccination certificate are not required to have on-arrival test, home quarantine and other measures.
