Entry is restricted to the following travellers:
• Citizens and PRs
• Spouse & Children of Citizens/PRs
• Other Residents (pass holders)
• Business Travellers
• Transit
• Vaccinated travellers (please see vaccine excemptions for details)
• Travellers from certain countries may enter, please see travel restrictions for details
Others:
• Travellers with a Hong Kong SAR, China passport;
• Travellers with a Hong Kong SAR, China "Document of Identity for Visa Purposes";
• Residents of Hong Kong SAR, China with a Permanent Identity Card;
• Residents of Hong Kong SAR, China with an Identity card with the asterisk, the code "A" or the code "R";
• Residents of Hong Kong SAR, China with an Identity card with the code "C", accompanied by a visa;
• Residents of Hong Kong SAR, China with an Identity card with the code "U". They must have a prior approval from Hong Kong Immigration;
• Residents of Hong Kong SAR, China with an Identity card accompanied by a visa with "Permission to remain extended until". They must enter within the validity of the permitted stay;
• Travellers with a residence or study visa issued by Hong Kong SAR, China;
💉 Vaccine exemptions
Vaccinated travellers may enter and have reduced quarantine requirement(s).
These exemptions only apply to:
• Travellers who in the past 14 days have only been in Mainland of China, Macao SAR, China with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival. They are subject to home quarantine for 7 nights.
• Travellers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival may enter. The certificate must be in Chinese or English or accompanied by a written confirmation in Chinese or English issued by the health authority of the country of vaccination. They must not have been in a red lane country in the past 21 days

You are required to complete a pre-arrival form.
Details:
Travellers and airline crew must complete a Health Declaration Form at https://www.chp.gov.hk/hdf/. This will generate a QR code which must be presented upon arrival.

🌡️ Testing requirements
You will need a formal Medical Certificate presenting a Covid-19 test from an accepted establishment taken prior to your departure from the first embarkation point.
On Arrival you may be required to complete a test for Covid-19 and/or some form of medical screening, the cost borne by the traveller
Details:
Travellers entering and transiting must have:
- a negative COVID-19 PCR or RT-PCR test taken at most 48 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Hong Kong, SAR China. The name in the test result must match the name on the travel document, or a written confirmation issued by the laboratory with the name of the passenger must be presented; and
- a document proving that the laboratory is:
- ISO 15189 accredited; or
- approved by the local government.
All documents must be in Chinese or English.

😷 Quarantine requirements
General arrivals will be required to quarantine for up to 14 days. Quarantine is to be served at a dedicated facility (costs borne by traveller)
Details:
Travellers must undergo 14 days at a designated hotel and a further 7 days self monitoring at home.

Details:
• Travellers who have only been in these countries for the past 14 days may enter, and must have a hotel reservation confirmation in Chinese or English for a minimum of 14 nights instead of the standard 21 nights.

China, Macao (SAR China)
Details:
• Entry for travellers who in the past 21 days have been in or transited through these countries for more than 2 hours is limited to Hongkong residents that have been fully vaccinated
• Vaccine exemptions do not apply to these travellers
