Entry / Exit Key Updates

  • Indonesia remains relatively closed to those who are not citizens or residents. Entry exemptions may also apply to travellers with a Temporary Stay Permit (ITAS) or Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP), APEC Business Travel Card, or traveling under the Travel Corridor Arrangement (TCA).
  • Entry ban for travelers from 14 different countries imposed starting late November has been lifted
  • Quarantine period was shortened from 10-14 days to 7-10 days.
  • Global travel restrictions are anticipated to still be implemented in the future. As of 17 January, there have been 296M vaccine doses given, with 66% of Indonesia’s population has received at least one dose.

  • Malaysia: No changes have been made since the previous update last November 2021
  • Philippines: No changes have been made since the previous update last November 2021
